I worked for the BBC as a television reporter for a number of years. Although people say I have a natural eye for a picture it was here, working with fantastic cameramen and women that I developed my strong visual sense.

When I left the Beeb I started to sell my pictures at market and coffee shop exhibitions, which is a tough thing to do.

Television is (among many good things) an industry full of cliches and lazy ideas.
I wanted to have my own thoughts. I still do. I hope my photography reflects that.
I try to apply that rationale to my wedding photography.  We're in the 21st century but many photographers use 19th century ideas to reflect people's big day.

When I get a picture 'right' I get a buzz just as much as being 'live on air'. And so I hope you enjoy thumbing through my pictures and get a some small sense of the pleasure of the place or person which I got.

Finally, i'm thrilled when people get in touch, make comments or observations, so please take the time to drop me a line through the contacts page. I always answer.
